Our client is an established Independent Broker who has been trading for over 40 years. Through continued growth they are looking to recruit An experienced Commercial Account Executive.
Earning potential, Bonus structure based on commission income of 250 - 300K commission income inc fees up to 56K
PURPOSE OF ROLE: Sales, Client servicing, Renewal of client insurance programmes and Claims
support
ROLE OVERVIEW
This is a key client service role with responsibility for:
- Conducting telephone fact finds over the phone and producing insurance market submissions.
- Attending client meetings for the more complex client cases, when required.
- Handling of own client cases.
- The Account Executive needs to be able to identify insurable risks in a client's business
and be able to advise as to appropriate solutions.
- Maintain sufficient pipeline of prospective clients.
- Obtaining e-traded insurance terms to meet client requirements.
- Negotiating with underwriters to obtain insurance terms to meet client requirements.
- Production and delivery to the client of clear and FCA-compliant sales documents
detailing recommended solutions.
- Answering client queries during the policy year in a prompt and constructive fashion.
- Checking the accuracy and completeness of policy documentation prior to dispatch
to clients.
- Assisting clients with claims issues.
This is a key revenue-generation role with responsibility for:
- Renewal of client accounts.
- Up-sales and cross-sales.
- Developing and maintaining a pipeline of prospective clients sufficient to achieve agreed sales targets.
- Attending networking events or trade shows when required.

EXPERIENCE & STUDIES
Essential: Minimum 2 years in a commercial role.
Member of the CII and working towards Dip CII qualification, ideally (opportunity given to study toward ACII if desired).
