History Teacher
Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire
Start Date: January 2025
Salary: M1 to UPS3 Dependent upon experience
Contract Type: Permanent
Academics are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced History Teacher to work in a secondary school in St Albans. This is a permanent position starting in January 2025.
About the Role:
- Teaching History across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.
- Creating engaging and well-structured lessons that inspire a passion for history.
- Supporting students' academic progress and encouraging critical thinking.
- Collaborating with the Humanities department and contributing to the wider school community.
Minimum Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching History in a secondary school setting.
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
