Grafton Banks Finance are working with a large commercial company with offices in Hemel Hempstead to recruit a temporary Experienced Accounts Payable professional on an initial 3-month temporary basis. Reporting into the Head of Finance this is a specific project to support the business with the Accounts Payable function and reconciling financial data. Working full time hours 37.5 Monday – Friday.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Matching, batching and coding a large volume of backlog AP invoices
- Conduct supplier statement reconciliations
- Process payment runs, including manual payments
- Assist with bank reconciliations
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm account details
- Process a large volume of invoices efficiently
- Manage and correct direct debit payments and related information
- Provide ad hoc support as needed
The successful candidate will be experienced with the end-to-end processing of Accounts Payable. Experience of working with large volumes of data both high and low value. Strong communication skills are essential both verbal and written to manage suppliers and information. IT skills are essential with Microsoft packages MS Word, Excel and experience of Accounting packages to be able to manipulate large data.
