I am working with a Housing Association that is looking to recruit for a management accountant.
Location: London
On-site requirements: Hybrid
Salary: 53k
What the Management Accountant will do:
- Plan and deliver quarterly and ad hoc reports, including statutory and management reports.
- Provide regular forecasts, monitor budgets, and deliver operational targets.
- Assist on annual budgets
- Technical accounting in compliance with Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).
- Maintain and update the chart of accounts
- Oversee annual production of financial statements and liaise with auditors.
- Perform monthly reconciliations
- Business partnering within other departments to help with business plans
- Provide technical support, including for audits and notes to accounts.
What the Management Accountant will have:
- Recognised accounting qualification- CCAB
- Experience managing month-end processes, including journal posting and reconciliations.
- Experience in annual budgeting and rolling forecasts.
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting tool skills.
