We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Speech and Language Therapist to join our client on a full-time, term-time-only basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children in a supportive and rewarding environment.
This post is open to NQ Speech and Language Therapists and those awaiting their HCPC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to children in a specialist setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support the communication and language development of the children.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and progress.
- Provide training and support to staff, parents, and carers to facilitate effective communication strategies.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in a residential setting or similar is essential.
- New Qualified (NQ) Speech and Language Therapists awaiting HCPC registration are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
