Caretaker
Full Time - Ongoing Contract
Days: Monday to Friday
Shifts: 6am - 2pm or 1:30pm - 9:30pm
Pay Rate: Negotiable depending on experience

The role:
Our client need a Caretaker to support the Facilities Team within a Further Education College. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality of the campus facilities. Your duties will include cleaning classrooms, hallways, and possibly other facilities, performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks; ensuring the security of buildings by locking and unlocking doors; managing waste disposal; and sometimes overseeing the work of cleaning staff. This role is a long term sickness cover.

What you need:
- Have a Paper Copy of an Enhanced DBS. The DBS must have been checked against the Child Barring Service - This is non-negotiable
- Some experience working within an Estates or Facilities team
- A basic construction skills qualification, for example carpentry, multi-skills, plastering, CSCS
- Good timekeeping skills
- Availability to start work right away
