What to expect as a Room Leader:
- Support, mentor and supervise room staff in their day-to-day duties and quality of learning journeys and observations
- Be a champion of ongoing development, supporting apprentices in your team
- Stay up to date with current developments in early years policies and practices
- As a key person you will ensure that the needs of your key children are met, build effective relationships with parents and support with any SEND needs
- Carry out observations, plan activities in line with the EYFS and support the development of your key children
- Coordinate the activities within your room to ensure the delivery of EYFS
*You must hold a level 3 childcare qualification to be considered for this role*
