Exciting Opportunity for a Project Engineer!

Are you an experienced Project Engineer looking for a new challenge? We are a Recruitment Agency collaborating with a leading business seeking a talented Project Engineer for a 6-month contract based in Andover.

Position Details:

  • Location: Andover
  • Contract Duration: 6 months
  • Pay Rate: £20.50 - £25.64 per hour
  • Work Hours: 08:30-17:00 Mon-Thu, 08:30-15:45 Fri

About the Role: As a Project Engineer, you will provide first-line support to all areas of Supply Chain and Customer Services, translating design information into SAP Material Master Data, Bills of Materials, and Routings. Your role will involve preparing assembly instruction documents, leading the resolution of technical issues, and supporting the Reliability team with Facilities activities on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Approve Design and Assembly drawings.
  • Prepare assembly instruction documents detailing the production process.
  • Lead resolution of technical issues for Production and Warehouse areas.
  • Support NPI projects and update progress to the project team.
  • Update site layouts and P&ID's using AutoCAD or equivalent.
  • Promote and lead by example on all aspects of safety.
  • Risk assess and review safety in all SOPs and projects.

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Production, Process, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, BOM's, Routings, and Master data.
  • In-depth knowledge of TPM / Lean principles.
  • Understanding of NPI and gated processes.
  • Experience managing projects and project teams.
  • High standard of numeracy and literacy.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Preferred experience in SAP, DDM, eQMS, and AutoCAD.
  • NVQ level 4, HNC, or equivalent in Electro-mechanical engineering.
