Salary: £15,723 - £17,100 per annum (pro rata of £26,444 - £28,759) - SS3

Job type: Permanent, Part time (22 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)

The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join University College Birmingham's CASE (Centre for Academic Skills and English) team as an English and Academic Skills Assessor. You will be joining a highly regarded team at an exciting time in UCB's development, which has seen the opening of several first-class teaching/study environments.

As a key part of the Learning Services directorate, you will join the team to deliver and assess applicants and students taking the UCB English Language Test (UCBELT) and UCB's Academic Skills and English Tasks (ASET).

You will have experience of assessing students in all four language skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking) using the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) as well as training students to prepare for tests. You will also have administration experience relevant to testing and assessment.
