HR Business Partner

We are seeking a strategic Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to join a large HR team. The HRBP will play a critical role in aligning the HR initiatives with business objectives and needs. The position, is initially for a 1 year contract, and requires a proactive and solution-oriented individual who can drive HR strategies, provide expert HR guidance, and foster a positive workplace culture.

HRBP Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior management to understand the business goals and develop HR strategies that support these objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on all HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, talent development, and organizational design.
  • Lead and manage the implementation of HR programs and initiatives across the business units.
  • Provide expertise in areas such as employee engagement, compensation and benefits, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Analyse HR data and trends to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Champion a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring that all HR practices are aligned with these values.
  • Facilitate change management processes and support business transformation initiatives.
  • Manage employee relations issues with a fair and balanced approach, ensuring timely resolution.

HRBP Skills & Experience

  • CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Generalist people experience, including specific experience of dealing with employee relations issues in line with employment law.
  • Experience of partnering with senior stakeholders within an organisation, influencing decisions and delivering outputs aligned with divisional strategies.
  • Experience of working on learning and development programmes and cultivating a learning culture within an organisation, but not essential
  • Experience of some line management would be utilised.

Location: Westminster / Victoria

Hybrid working: 1 - 2 days in the London office, 36 hours per week

Salary: £49K - £51K plus excellent benefits.
