In this role, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the highest standards of accounting and financial support for our client's property investment portfolios. This position offers the opportunity to work in a challenging yet rewarding environment, where your expertise will be highly valued.

Your key responsibilities as Property Accountant will include but not limited to:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for property investments, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis for property portfolios.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts and ensure discrepancies are promptly resolved.
  • Collaborate across departments, particularly with the finance team for efficient and consistent reporting.
  • Support the Property Financial Controller in managing cash flow, funding requirements, and financial risk associated with property investments.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide detailed financial reports and insights to senior management to aid in strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors as needed.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve financial processes and systems within the property division.
  • Support other ad hoc projects and analysis as directed by Senior Management and the Property Team.

To be considered for the role of Property Accountant, you will be:

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with minimum of 1year PQE.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Diligent, thorough, and excellent attention to detail with high levels of integrity and confidentiality.
