Job Description
To provide technical support to all areas daily across both electrical and mechanical disciplines. To ensure the department operates with due regard to current legislation, company, and statutory requirements.
Ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment throughout the site. Installation of production and plant equipment, commissioning, breakdown analysis and repair. Identify areas in which engineering improvements can be made to increase quality, efficiency, or safety. Carry out duties with due regard to the environment.
Assist with the training of company apprentices. Will attend meetings when required to do so. Will prepare concise and accurate reports when required to do so. Will keep abreast of new technology and advise the company accordingly. To work with strict accordance to all company H&S policies.

Desirable
Qualification in both electrical and mechanical engineering to HNC or HND level or NVQ equivalent
18th edition IEE wiring regs
H&S qualifications
IOSH or NEBOSH
C&G 2391-52 inspection and test
