Job Title: Senior Human Resources Business Partner
Location: Stanford le Hope, with regular travel to Southampton
Onsite: This is a site based role.
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + 13% bonus and Benefits.

NB: A full valid UK driving licence is essential (or an appropriate international licence allowing you to drive on UK roads.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Guidance: Provide expert advice and support to stakeholders on various HR topics, including talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational design.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to address HR challenges, offering innovative solutions that align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture: Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture that boosts morale and retention.
  • HR Metrics & Analytics: Utilize HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs, identify trends, and provide data-driven insights to guide decision-making.
  • Policy Implementation: Support the HR leadership team in implementing policies, procedures, and initiatives that promote a high-performance culture and comply with legal standards.
  • Union Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with on-site Union Representatives, ensuring regular and meaningful consultations.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay informed on HR trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, translating them into actionable strategies.
  • External Partnerships: Develop relationships with external vendors and partners to enhance HR capabilities and stay ahead of emerging trends.
  • Global Initiatives: Contribute to regional and global HR projects, ensuring their effective local implementation.

Qualifications

:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; CIPD Level 7 certification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Proven experience as an HR Business Partner with a strategic focus, particularly in an operational or engineering environment.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience in managing and developing HR teams, fostering collaboration, and a high-performance culture.
  • Union Experience: Experience working in a unionized environment with a track record of managing complex employee relations cases.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel regularly to our Southampton port.
