Job Purpose

Work in close partnership with the Commercial Leads in the Rezzayo COE, Global Commercial Operations and Market Access in a hands-on business partnering role.

Contribute to the delivery of the Global Rezzayo Financial Plan by proactively providing relevant and timely financial information to inform data driven decision-making.

Responsible for making sure the commercial functions have accurate and timely financial data available as a decision base to steer business, to sustain operations and to safeguard the organisation's assets.

Act as a key point of contact in responding to finance questions in relation to Rezzayo.

Responsibilities

  • Finance Partnering

  • Provide proactive and informed financial analysis and insight to the Commercial Leads in the Rezzayo COE, Global Commercial Operations and Market Access teams to assist business and data-focused decision-making to drive performance of the business.

  • Financial leadership responsibility for the Global Rezzayo P&L, across all functions including SA, Tech Ops and Supply Chain

  • Develop a clear understanding of all assumptions behind the Rezzayo Lifecycle P&L

  • Collaboration with Tech Ops / SC to understand COGS and Inventory assumptions, ensuring alignment

  • Budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, analysis and modelling, balanced with a hands-on approach when required

  • Business case support as necessary including third party arrangements such as Distributor models

  • Prepare financial performance presentations for Exco or Board meetings as required, liaising with Rezzayo COE, Global Commercial Operations and Market Access leadership teams

  • Close collaboration with the Market Access and Pricing teams to ensure alignment on pricing and market access strategies

  • Business planning and analysis

  • Own the preparation of the Global Rezzayo and Global Commercial Operations and Market Access Budgets including centrally determined functional resources/budget liaising with the Cluster FDs and Cluster Leads to understand, challenge and align on key principles and drivers

  • Partner with the commercial leads in responding to financial tasks & challenges including the development of options and data-driven recommendations

  • Introduce a process and clear monitoring system to track progress against agreed savings commitments (both in $ and FTEs)

  • Standardise tracking of Functional FTEs, effectively and efficiently

  • Ownership of the Rezzayo Lifecycle P&L - ensuring the 5 year plan is aligned.

  • Scenario analysis and modelling to determine potential impacts of changes in assumptions.

  • KPI's /Analysis of data for Asset team, in order to benchmark and challenge / validate market planning and assumptions

  • Others

  • Play a cross functional co-ordination role in order to ensure full and complete alignment on all activities and assumptions behind Rezzayo

  • Represent finance in the asset and above country leadership teams. Inform and influence strategic decision making through value-add insight and data-led recommendations.

  • Partner effectively with all stakeholders including non-Finance, GFLT, FSSC and colleagues internationally.

  • Identify and drive opportunities to maximize the value we achieve through our third-party providers.

  • Proactively identify and manage financial risks & opportunities and propose measurement to improve financial performance, governance and controls

  • Lead or contribute to projects as required and carry out any other reasonable tasks as required.

  • Working with BD / Commercial asset team to understand requirements for scenarios / base case / align on assumptions and share models

Key skills and experience

  • Significant post qualification experience in Business Finance roles
  • Previous people leadership experience with a track record of ability to maximise individual and team performance
  • Ability to partner effectively with the commercial leads and other senior stakeholders in all financial matters and to build effective relationships at executive management level
  • Ability to negotiate and influence key decisions through informed recommendations
  • Proven track record of managing and engaging stakeholders in an international and multi-cultural environment
  • Strategic and analytical thinking with commercial acumen and decision making
  • Proven track record of continuous improvement and value creation
  • Highly effectively communicator both in writing and face to face. Able to adapt messaging to deliver required results in a multi-cultural, global context
  • Strong project management skills
  • Able to operate independently with high levels of personal accountability
  • Unquestionable integrity and personal ethics.
  • Master's degree in Finance or Accounting or a comparable education
  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA

Preferred experience

  • Significant post-qualification experience in Business Finance roles

  • Master's degree and Master's in Finance, Accounting, or comparable education
