- The experience we expect:
- Operational knowledge across Housekeeping Department.
- Background in hotels is preferred - so you will understand how we work
- Customer service skills, standards-driven, good organisational skills
- To be able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment and to enjoy it
- To be able to manage the team and resources available to ensure that the departments are equipped for service via cost controls.
- Ability to communicate to and motivate your team providing day-to-day leadership and direction
- Be able to use computer systems
Your responsibilities will be:
- Controls the stock of cleaning materials and equipment.
- Controls the Company laundry system; organises repairs and replacements as necessary.
- Responsible for the preparation of the Company bedrooms.
- Ordering of food and service of coffee and tea for meetings in the Clerk's office and other conference rooms as required.
- Routinely supports the Assistant Beadle in cleaning, preparing and accounting for Company silver and plate.
- Prepares formal rooms for functions and events.
- Responsible for the management of the ladies' cloakroom on formal occasions.
SPECIFICATION
35 Hours per week 5 from 7 days
Salary £ 30,741 GPA
