Working on behalf of a local authority, JO recruitment are looking for an experienced Community Safety Manager to lead, direct and effectively manage the Licensing Service. The post holder will be the professional expert on Licensing matters and deal with the most serious, contentious, and complex issues relating to Licensing and will lead on those most challenging issues.
The portfolio of services managed by the post holder includes:
- Direct management of CCTV & Community Safety Services and community enforcement across both councils
- Contract management of CCTV & Community Safety Services and other contracts in place to support Community Safety across both councils.
- Contract management of newly procured contracts following a service review.
They are looking for a Community Safety Manager to work from Brentwood Town Hall, Rochford Offices or WFH - 3 days in office 2 days from home to start ASAP. This will be on a temporary ongoing basis initially for 6 months, full time 37 hours per week paying £32.90 per hour PAYE; which is equivalent to £63,300 salary or £42.64 per hour through an umbrella.
- Demonstrable evidence of a clear understanding of community safety & CCTV function and how it should be supported.
- Experience of leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience of contract management with strong commercial acumen
- Experience of working at a senior level directly with politicians in a democratic environment.
- Experience in Community safety, ASB and CCTV essential
