Learning Disability Support Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking to add a compassionate and committed Learning Disability Support Worker to our team. In addition to helping with routine duties, encouraging independence, and improving the quality of life of individuals with learning difficulties, the ideal applicant will offer them individualised support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to clients with learning disabilities in various settings, including their homes, community, and residential facilities.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Encourage and support clients in developing independent living skills, social skills, and participation in community activities.
  • Monitor and document clients progress, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or in a similar support role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license
