Kingsley Consulting are recruiting 2 Project Managers to work across projects within the EU. We have partnered with a leading specialist roofing, cladding, and façade contractor that deliver high value Projects both in the UK and Europe to help them hire 2 experienced Project Managers for their growing European team. Our client continues to grow from strength to strength. Renowned for delivering prestigious building envelope projects across various sectors, including Commercial, Industrial, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare.

This opportunity will suit someone who has an EU Passport and is able to live away from home on a 2 week rotation basis.

Job Description:

The Project Manager will oversee the completion of projects within specified timeframes and budgets, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. The role requires strong communication skills to liaise effectively with senior stakeholders within the company and client organisations. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing project resources and resolving any issues that may arise to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Role Overview:

The Project Manager's primary objective is to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. This involves identifying and mitigating potential issues that could impact the project's safe and timely delivery. The role also involves communicating effectively with senior stakeholders and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure labour and materials are on site for all projects, maintaining full Health & Safety compliance.
  • Procure materials within budget, ensuring timely delivery according to the project schedule.
  • Ensure plant and equipment are available on-site as required, fully compliant with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Oversee works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Implement site Inspection and Test Plans to uphold quality during installation.
  • Develop and update site-specific risk assessments and method statements.
  • Report weekly on Planned vs. Actual progress, providing updates and photos.
  • Liaise with the Senior Project Manager/Project Director to understand the Bill of Quantities from a commercial perspective.
  • Report monthly on material, plant, and labour costs against budgets.
  • Re-measure completed works on-site and submit to the project team.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for material delivery, ensuring quality checks before acceptance.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required by directors, management, or consultants.
  • This role may involve some travel and unsocial hours.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • EU Passport required.
  • Degree in Construction or a related field; Construction Science or Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in roofing/cladding.
  • Ability to interpret roofing project drawings.
  • Knowledge of roofing construction methods, practices, and safety codes.
  • Effective communication, supervision, and managerial skills.
  • High-level computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook; Microsoft Project is a plus.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Current driver's license.
