At Calor, we are dedicated to keeping our customers safe, warm, working, and informed. Our Transformation and Information team is seeking an engaging and proactive Business Process Analyst to join us in this mission.

About the Role

As a Business Process Analyst, you will play a crucial role in translating business requirements into effective process solutions aligned with our strategies and roadmaps. You will facilitate process alignment and standardization, driving ongoing process transformation and efficiency to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Business Process Owners, Subject Matter Experts, Key Users, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and promote the use of standard functionality.
  • Support the Product Owner in managing demand.
  • Work with Business Process Owners to design business processes, translating requirements into viable process solutions for customer-facing systems.
  • Facilitate workshops to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Design holistic processes, considering integration points, controls, roles, compliance, KPIs, and reports.
  • Ensure process integration across different processes and application areas.
  • Proactively review and drive improvements in business processes with BPOs.
  • Provide expertise in process procedures and support business change and training teams in identifying business change impacts.

About You

Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Business Process Analyst in a commercial organization, with in-depth knowledge and expertise in:

  • Effective user story writing

  • Requirement gathering

  • Process mapping

  • System and process documentation

  • Strong understanding of business processes and principles, especially in Customer Experience (CX).

  • Experience working with Salesforce.

  • Experience with continuous improvement and agile methodologies.

  • Experience with large transformation projects.

  • Proficiency in writing operational business procedures and capturing process maps using external tools.

  • Strong abilities in requirements analysis, elucidation, prioritization, and user story documentation.

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Understanding of both business strategy/needs of management and the day-to-day operations of the user community.

  • Experience working in project teams.

Desirable:

  • Qualification in a process excellence method such as Lean Six Sigma.
  • Experience with CX processes and systems.
