Are you a HR Business Partner that loves navigating change?

Do you have experience partnering C-suite level stakeholders, implementing local and company wide people plans?

I am fortunate enough to be working exclusively with a very successful client based in Derbyshire to support them to source a new HR Business Partner to join their team. This role will report directly into the CPO and be part of a small network of HR BPs, looking after different business units. This particular role will be aligned to the Technology business unit, partnering the CTO and their Senior Leadership Team on generalist, operational and strategic people matters.

This is an opportunity to be part of a genuinely creative, passionate, and self-proclaimed 'quirky' HR function. This team are highly commercial and well respected in the organisation, whilst encouraging everyone to bring their own personality to work and build honest, real, relationships with the wider business.

Whilst this is absolutely a generalist role, it requires someone who has proven experience in delivering HR change management and consultations. The CTO is fairly new into post and as such, is realigning the team to suit the future strategic direction of the department. There's also lots of change happening in other areas of the business, which can sometimes cause a nervousness within the wider workforce which you will need to be able to appreciate and manage. The great news, is that a lot of the change is positive, with new hires and fresh ideas joining the business!

So, what's the role?

  • Fully generalist HR BP role, leading on activities such as designing and delivering localised people plans, leading on complex ER, recruitment, performance management, engagement and retention activities, D&I etc.
  • Delivering on both operational and strategic HR duties
  • Leading on HR change management projects and consultations processes for your business unit
  • Partnering the CTO and wider technology function
  • Line management of a HR Partner and recruitment partner in India, including travel to India 1-2 times per year
  • Multi-site people support, across Derbyshire, Wales and India, with trips to Wales once per month
  • Working as part of a wider HR BP network, collaborating and sharing best practice where possible
  • Playing a key role in a commercial, vibrant and well respected HR team

So, if you're on the look out for your next permanent HR BP role and you've got experience in all of the above, apply now!
