WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • You'll be at the forefront of transforming data into actionable insights. As part of your role, you will promptly and efficiently handle tickets and requests, ensuring seamless data availability and accuracy through diligent daily checks.
  • You'll analyse and document Business Intelligence requirements, and develop ad hoc extracts from SQL Server. Leveraging Microsoft Business Intelligence tools such as SQL Server, SSRS, and Power BI, you'll design and maintain dataflows, datasets, dashboards, and reports.
  • You'll also create and manage ETL flows from source to data warehouse using SQL Server Integration Services, assist with data modelling and solution design, and complete relevant development documentation.
  • Your role includes testing and peer reviewing development work, ensuring the ongoing maintenance of our client's data warehouse estate, and contributing to various projects. BI DEVELOPER - ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Strong expertise in T-SQL scripting and Excel
  • Proven experience in creating Business Intelligence solutions using T-SQL, Excel, SSRS, DAX, and Power BI
  • Extensive background in ETL development with SSIS and SSISDB
  • Capability to thrive in an agile project setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interaction with colleagues at all levels
  • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts
  • Basic proficiency with Power Platform tools
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and perform well under pressure
