The Opportunity

Our client is excited to announce a new opportunity for a People Advisor to join their team.

Following recent growth and team development, this role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact by providing proactive and flexible People support that drives business performance.

As the first point of contact for People-related matters, you will advise line managers as they guide their teams through change, helping to boost colleague engagement and performance. This role covers key areas such as recruitment, talent management, succession planning, employee relations, performance and absence management, recognition, reward, and benefits.

You will also have the opportunity to produce and interpret People metrics, providing insights that help inform key business decisions. Your coaching and guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices will empower managers to keep People at the heart of their decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment, talent management, and succession planning.
  • Advise on employee relations, performance management, and absence management.
  • Guide and coach managers on policies and best practices across people management.
  • Interpret key People data to inform business decisions.
  • Support recognition, reward, and benefits programs.
  • Assist managers in fostering an engaged and high-performing team.

The Ideal Candidate

Our client is looking for a passionate and proactive People Advisor who brings:

  • CIPD Level 3 or above.
  • Experience advising and coaching line managers.
  • A track record of managing employee relations (ER) cases.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently, using your initiative and managing your own diary.
