About the role

Your role is to ensure all reception and administrative activities in the Boots third-party GP Service are carried out effectively whilst delivering exemplary care. You will be an integral part of our Healthcare team enabling our customers' and patients' wellbeing to thrive. You will be based onsite and will report to the Store Leadership team.

Your role will involve:

  • Greet customers and verify their details, clerical tasks such as management of appointment bookings, dealing with queries and managing the mailbox, recording clear and accurate medical notes
  • Maintain quality of service delivery by following Standard Operating Procedures and following health and safety standards
  • Good time management working in date order and prioritising to meet deadlines such as customer reports sent within desired time frame and effective management of abnormal results
  • All customers have the correct paperwork to support their visit – appointment packs (where applicable), clinical file preparation and consent forms
  • Order and maintain adequate stock of requisite materials needed to deliver services
  • Work with wider healthcare professionals to escalate queries and signposting into other healthcare services
