People Services Advisor
- Salary Range: £26,400 - £31,300
- Location: Hybrid Role with Belfast base
- Job Type: Full-time, Fixed term contract until end Dec 2024 (possible extension subject to approval)
- Hours: 37 hours per week
Reed HR are seeking a People Services Advisor to provide professional and high-quality HR support services, primarily in the area of Recruitment and Induction. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our organisation's commitment to promoting and developing high-quality early childhood services.
Day to Day of the role:
- Coordinate all aspects of the recruitment and selection process in conjunction with designated managers, ensuring compliance with legislation and vetting procedures.
- Assist managers with the selection of staff and ensure adherence to recruitment policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and updated records on the computerised HR information system, including attendance, absence, applicant and job information, and training details.
- Coordinate the issue of contracts of employment and support the on-boarding of new recruits.
- Provide induction training and process relevant paperwork for new starters.
- Complete administration tasks associated with recruitment and general HR.
- Support managers in the induction of staff and prepare for HR meetings in advance.
- Respond to general written, telephone, and email enquiries promptly and accurately.
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of work.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- CIPD membership at Associate level OR a recognized qualification in Human Resources Management (or equivalent) OR extensive HR/Recruitment experience
- One years' practical experience in a human resource function including experience of recruitment
- Knowledge and application of current employment legislation.
- A full current driving licence enabling the holder to drive in NI and have the use of a vehicle for official purposes or have access to a form of transport that will enable the candidate to meet the requirements of the post in full.
