Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Temporary HR Officer to support a company based in South West London. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and a thorough understanding of HR practices and employment law.
Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations (ER) Casework:

Manage and resolve ER issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management.

Provide advice and support to managers and employees on ER matters.

Ensure all ER cases are handled in accordance with company policies and employment law.

TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings - Protection of Employment):

Oversee and manage the TUPE process for incoming and outgoing employees.

Ensure compliance with TUPE regulations and provide guidance to affected employees.

Liaise with relevant stakeholders to facilitate smooth transitions.

DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Checks:

Conduct and manage DBS checks for new and existing employees.

Maintain accurate records of DBS checks and ensure timely renewals.

Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.

General HR Support:

Assist with recruitment processes, including job postings, shortlisting, and interviewing.

Support onboarding and induction processes for new employees.

Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.

Provide general HR administrative support as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in HR, with a focus on ER casework, TUPE, and DBS checks.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
