Tax Semi-Senior/Tax Assistant, Huddersfield, £23-28,000 plus ATT/CTA study support
A chartered accountancy practice in Huddersfield is recruiting for a Tax Semi-Senior or Tax Assistant to assist with the personal tax affairs for their clients.
This would suit someone who is already studying and working in a similar role or for a Graduate who has some Tax experience. You will be provided with on the job training as well as study support to become ATT/CTA qualified.
The role will involve assisting with the preparation of self-assessment tax returns, assisting with tax planning, and on-goingsupport to ensure the efficient operation of the tax department.
To be considered you should have a strong interest in taxation, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service. Working with their Tax Manager, there will also be opportunity to have an involvement in other tax aspects of the department, including corporate, trust & VAT worketc.
Qualifications:
- Some experience in tax preparation or a similar role is preferred.
- Good academics
- Knowledge of personal income tax regulations and tax filing procedures would be beneficial.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
