Help Educate is working closely with a partner school dedicated to providing quality education for students with special educational needs. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Primary SEN Class Teacher to join their team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with complex needs.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment that promotes independence and confidence among students.
  • Collaborate closely with parents, support staff, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for each child.
  • Regularly assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary to facilitate learning.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and maintain accurate records of students' achievements and challenges.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Contribute to the school's inclusive ethos and actively participate in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in a primary setting, with a focus on special educational needs, particularly complex needs.
  • Strong understanding of various teaching strategies and approaches for students with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient attitude towards working with children with diverse needs.
