We are seeking an immediately available, dedicated and organized Admin Assistant to support our school's administrative and HR functions. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in administration and human resources, proficiency in SIMS (School Information Management System), and hold an enhanced DBS check. This is a temporary position up until February 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the school's leadership team and staff.
- Manage student records and maintain accurate data within SIMS.
- Assist with HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management.
- Coordinate communication between staff, students, and parents.
- Prepare reports and documentation as required.
- Support the organization of school events and activities.
- Handle inquiries and provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and practices.
- Proficiency in SIMS and other relevant software applications.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Enhanced DBS check is required.
