Hotel Contracts Executive - Nordic Countries - Central London + Travel - £27k to £30k + Bonus + Benefits
A well established leading global Hotel Accommodation wholesaler company is looking for a new person to join their Hotel Contracts team. This person will be concentrating on the Nordic Countries, and whilst based in London, you will enjoy travelling on a regular basis to visit hotels within the Nordic countries, maintaining relations with an existing portfolio of hotels and at the same time looking to build new partnerships. So there is a good base already but you will also need to be proactive and develop the product.
You will be a bubbly, outgoing individual who knows how to negotiate and ideally be a graduate with some experience or knowledge of the Hotel / Hospitality / Leisure and Tourism industry.
SALARY ETC:
- £27k to £30k, depending on experience.
- Bonuses and benefits, as well as travel cost reimbursements and arrangements.
- City of London
- Permanent, full-time
- Hybrid working, as well as travel to Nordic Countries.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A graduate who has a bubbly and outgoing personality, with a passion for the Hotel/Hospitality/Leisure industry.
- Good basic maths skills, and knows how to negotiate
- Must be based in London/UK, with full right to work in the UK, and freedom and willing to travel frequently and build the business in the Nordic region.
- Very good communication skills and a professional written manner, who can organize themselves.
- Should be a real team player but also working on their own initiative and be good with deadlines.
- Proficient in English reading and writing (a Nordic language is a plus but not essential)
- Previous experience in Hospitality Industry or Sales will be considered as a plus
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
- Negotiating contracted rates and availability with both existing and new hotels.
- Loading contracted rates and specials via the online contracting system.
- Maintaining and monitoring existing relationships with hotels with frequent visits and calls to hotel sales and revenue managers.
- Frequent visits and calls to hotel sales and revenue managers in the Nordic region.
- Establishing new partnerships with hotels that we do not currently work with.
- Analysing statistics and growth figures to drive forward Company profit and volume.
- Coordinating with Freesale, Sales, Reservations and Accounts teams to ensure a smooth working relationship.
- Achieving special promotions with individual hotels, rate amendments, overrides, setting sensible targets etc.
