Due to continued growth and success, the opportunity to recruit a Demand Planner has arisen to manage the planning function between their production facility and customer sales. The successful candidate will be highly analytical and experienced in forecasting demand by analysing data of B2B and B2C customers within the beauty, wellness or a related consumer goods industry.

Responsibilities

  • Support new launches in a leading modern wellness men's skincare brand and supporting in the re-launch of an iconic heritage British soap and body care brand.
  • Assist in managing the end-to-end process, from concept through to delivery, with the support of the Senior NPD Manager, ensuring the seamless delivery of cutting-edge products that resonate with the brands ethos.
  • Development: Drive the creation and development of commercially viable product concepts.
  • Innovation: Initiate and implement creative and market-driven product stories that underscore our distinctive heritage, positioning and competitive advantage.
  • Project Co-Ordination: Manage projects from concept brief to launch, ensuring adherence to critical path timelines and successful completion.
  • Market Research: Conduct market analysis and consumer research to identify gaps in the market and potential opportunities for new product development. Leverage insights to guide decision-making and product strategy.
  • Budget: Plan, manage, and track project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and commercial feasibility.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years experience in a similar product development role, preferably within the beauty or toiletries sector.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Familiarity with sourcing and development, particularly in the Far East, is advantageous.
