Working within Infrastructure within Global Procurement, the role manages the submission to the European Central Bank (ECB) and Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) regulatory authorities. This senior role will drive a critical agenda of modernisation of the function to include a streamlined and technology focused approach, liaising with senior stakeholders. The role sits within the wider Data and Analytics function which will provide much support and infrastructure to ensure the success of the candidate.

Your key responsibilities

  • Managing a team that supports the production and consolidation of the Outsourcing register submission to the ECB plus PRA. Given the European and United Kingdom nexus
  • Building relationships with senior bank leaders in the division and support and provide guidance and understanding of new regulatory commitments
  • Providing thoughtful leadership to evolve the function to embrace more centralized collection of the required information, using modern technology and approaches
  • Being responsible for regulatory and audit activities for Data and Analytics, working with stakeholders in Global Procurement Third Party Management (TPM), Third Party Risk Management (TPRM), Divisional Vendor Management Offices (DVMOs), Group COO Divisional Controllers, Regional Management, Compliance
  • Using technology or developing individuals to solve problem and drive outcomes
  • Coaching and develop team members

Your skills and experience

  • Creative thinker, problem solver with the ability to understand the issues and opportunities
  • Excellent communicator and team-player, engaging at every level of the business
  • A starter and finisher - able to introduce new ideas, engage others and embed changes
  • Familiarity with complex large organisations, managing suboptimal data or processes and crafting a satisfactory outcome
  • Experience of regulatory affairs / understanding of Outsourcing registers Global or ECB, PRA is advantageous
  • Leadership skills to motivate and guide their team to complete projects on time and to the company's high standards
