Our client a well-established law firm with a strong reputation for providing high-quality legal services is seeking a Legal Secretary in their Private Client department
The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support to our solicitors, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence
- Managing diaries and scheduling appointments
- Handling telephone calls and client inquiries professionally
- Maintaining and organizing client files and records
- Assisting with the preparation of court documents and bundles
- Conducting legal research as required
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, and other professionals
- General administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably within a Private Client department
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
