Greater Manchester Police are seeking a diligent NBTC Operator to join their team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely e-Borders information to support various national security and police purposes.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide accurate and timely e-Borders information to police forces and other agencies across the UK.
- Exploit information held and processed in the e-Borders system effectively.
- Liaise with police forces and other agencies on a case-by-case basis to determine the most appropriate course of action.
- Offer advice and guidance to police and other users of e-Borders data.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience of working in an intelligence/investigative environment.
- Proficient IT skills, including Internet, Email, and Microsoft applications.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- Capable of operating in a high-profile, changing environment.
- Experience of working in a multi-agency environment.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to use own initiative with minimal supervision.
