Retention Sales Consultant - Basingstoke

Full time, office based (hybrid option after probation)

£24,500 - £35,000 basic salary + bonus

Reassured Ltd is the largest non-advised life insurance intermediary in the UK with established locations in Basingstoke, Portsmouth, Southampton, Manchester, Bristol, Bournemouth and Chester.

We launched our new Advised business offering in 2021 and continue to grow our sales and support teams across the entire business this year. We arrange over 15,000 new customer life insurance policies per month with leading sales conversions and customer satisfaction metrics. The business is outbound, B2C sales from internet generated customer enquiries.

A day in the life of your new role:

  • You will be contacting customers by telephone on receipt of notification of lapsed or cancelled policies (no cold calling)
  • Overcoming customer concerns and selling the benefits of our products and services
  • Performing fact finds, providing solutions and re-arranging Life Insurance policies for our existing customers over the phone in line with our sales process
  • Learning and retaining detailed product knowledge

Skills and Experience

  • You will have a successful career in outbound sales and able to demonstrate that you have hit targets
  • You will be a good communicator, passionate about sales and ensure that consistent sales results are achieved on a daily basis
  • Experience of working to and achieving targets
  • Self-motivated
  • Motivated by an environment where there is money and material rewards as a goal
  • Enjoys selling and likes influencing others and negotiating
  • The ability to work in a team
  • Prepared to go the extra mile to hit target
  • Enjoys working in a fast pace environment
