Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students with behavioural, emotional, and social development needs.
- Help prepare classroom materials and manage classroom activities.
- Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and parents.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting.
- Experience in a pupil referral unit or with students who have special educational needs is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, NVQ) are desired but not essential.
