Join our team as a Workplace Technology Manager for the Legal Sector!

Role Summary:

Our client, a leading legal firm in the Northwest is looking to hire an experienced Workplace Technology Manager on contract basis. As part of your role, you will be responsible for conducting an as-is analysis and audit of the business' IT infrastructure (hardware such as printers) on a global scale and offer solutions as to how associated operations can be improved.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conducting an as-is analysis and audit of the businesses IT infrastructure (office hardware such as printers) on a global scale.
  • Perform audits periodically on hardware/software assets.
  • Generate reports based on audit findings highlighting key areas needing improvement.
  • Review the efficiency of business' workspace VC system, to determine whether the system is being utilised and used to the best capacity.
  • Analyse and manage the firm's workspace booking system (Condeco) to ensure that the system is being utilised effectively.
  • Maintain regular reporting around booking trends.
  • Offer solutions tailored towards enhancing business processes through technology implementation.

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications or skills;

  • Proven experience working with workplace technologies.
  • Strong technical knowledge surrounding auditing/reporting procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability offering customised solutions aimed at improving overall operational efficiency.
  • Knowledgeable about various room scheduling tools such as Condeco.
  • Experience providing administrative guidance/support regarding video conferencing setup.
  • Experience communicating with teams cross departmentally and preferably on a global scale.

Experience leading an office/workplace move for a business of a similarly large size, would be highly desirable.

Day Rate: circa £500 per day, Inside IR35.
Work pattern: Hybrid, 1-2 days on site in the firm's Northwest based office per week.
Contract Duration: Until end of April 2025, with potential for extension beyond.
