PSV Transport Manager
PSV Transport Manager required! My client are a bus and coach transport company, providing transport solutions to their customers nationally. Due to company growth, they're looking for a transport manager to join their team, playing a major role in managing the transportation staff and fleet.
PSV Transport Manager - Responsibilities
- Develop and plan routes to improve efficiency and meet passenger demand.
- Monitor and evaluate service performance, adjusting as necessary to improve service delivery.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate transportation staff, including drivers.
- Ensure staff compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and customer service standards.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and service issues promptly.
- Implement and monitor safety procedures and protocols to ensure the safety of passengers and staff.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Develop and manage the transportation department budget.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of the transportation fleet.
PSV Transport Manager - Requirements
- Proven PSV transport management experience.
- Transport Manager CPC (PSV) is desirable.
- Team leadership/management experience.
- Strong communication and decision-making skills.
Remuneration
- Salary - £40,000 - £45,000 - dependent on experience
- Company pension scheme
