Working with a leading financial advisory firm based in Uxbridge, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join their dynamic team. This is a great opportunity for either a career paraplanner or someone looking to develop further within the role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining client records, data gathering and relevant research.
  • Utilise industry software to support in providing services to clients.
  • Prepare recommendations and produce suitability reports and any associated documentation, in line with company policy, for approval by the Financial Adviser.
  • Completion of documentation ready for clients to check and sign and submission of applications as appropriate.
  • Building and checking new business files to ensure all documentation is correct and in place, and that all files are compliant in line with Industry and Company standards.
  • Record any client communications (whether that communication is written, oral or electronic) including client related communications with third parties.
  • Assist in identifying areas for planning and sourcing solutions suitable to meet the client's needs and objectives.
  • Tax calculations where necessary.
  • Where necessary, liaise with product providers and other third parties to acquire additional information that may be required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a paraplanning role within a financial services environment.
  • Professional qualifications such as the Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS).
  • Strong knowledge of financial products, investment strategies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software and MS Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks effectively.
