About the Client:

Communicate Recruitment is currently working with an exciting FinTech organisation with a circa £250 million turnover. They are looking for a talented Group Reporting Manager to join their finance team.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Group Reporting Manager to oversee the consolidation and reporting of financial results for the group. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, provide accurate and timely financial reports, and support strategic decision-making processes. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a strong understanding of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the group
  • Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and FRS requirements
  • Coordinate and manage the group's external audit process
  • Develop and implement robust financial reporting policies and procedures
  • Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to senior management
  • Oversee the intercompany reconciliation process
  • Assist in the preparation of board presentations and other management reports
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and reporting standards
  • Mentor and develop junior finance team members

Qualifications:

  • ACA or ACCA preferred
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of financial reporting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
  • Experience in the FinTech industry or a high-growth startup environment is a plus
  • Proficient in financial reporting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong understanding of UK GAAP and FRS reporting requirements
  • Exceptional analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
