A renowned Creative/Production Agency is currently seeking a highly skilled Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic and busy finance team located in Soho on a hybrid basis (3 days a week in the office 2 days working from home).
Working in a team of 4, reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established production company.
Accounts Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and posting of purchase and sales invoices daily
- Preparing analysis and reconciliation of supplier accounts
- Maintenance of the supplier and customer ledgers
- Corresponding with suppliers and customers and responding to inquiries
- Weekly Credit Control
- Preparation of the weekly payment run
- Reconciling accounts payable transactions
- Reconciling accounts receivable transactions
- Process bank transactions daily
- Perform the daily bank reconciliation
- Manage the Finance mailbox for the team
- Process employee expenses and company credit cards
- Provide Support for the annual audit
- Ad-hoc accounting and administration tasks as required
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ideally will have studied or is studying AAT or equivalent
- Positive, "can do" attitude with the desire to take ownership of assigned tasks and projects.
- A sense of pride in maintaining a clean and accurate set of financial records.
- Confidence to interact with all staff across the finance team and the wider business.
- Flair for evaluating problems and proposing solutions independently.
- Possess a natural curiosity and ability to quickly pick-up new tasks whilst working autonomously.
- Good communicator, ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Well organised, with the ability to keep to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
