Finance Assistant

Our client, an ambitious contract manufacturing specialist within pharma is recruiting for a Finance Assistant to support the Financial Director. The Finance Assistant is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to provide financial support with an exciting and dynamic business by processing financial data accurately and timely reporting.

Key Accountabilities

Finance

  • Input accurate and timely financial information for Purchase, Sales and Nominal Ledgers
  • Assist with the completion of monthly reporting for Purchase, Sales and Nominal Ledgers
  • Support the Office Manager, the Director of Administration and Human Resources with external auditors and ensure all documentation is readily available
  • Ensure adherence to the financial processes and policies
  • Support all financial related tasks as required in a timely manner.

Managing Organisational Relationships

  • Attend and participate in regular staff meetings
  • Participate in regular 1-2-1s with Office Manager, ensuring paperwork is completed accurately
  • Ensure completion of performance management documentation
  • Take control of own personal development and participate in training

Processes

  • Regularly review and update all procedure notes
  • Create procedure notes for any processes not currently documented
  • Participate in cross training with other team members to support absence.

The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of 5 Nationals 5's including Maths and 2 Highers including English. Previous experience working with SAGE and Microsoft packages is essential. The successful candidates will have experience within a customer service orientated environment and have worked in a similar role previously. Candidates with the above strengths including effective communication, multitasking capability, planning and organisational skills are encouraged to apply.
