Search are excited to be partnering with a fast growing SME who are on the lookout for a high calibre and technically astute Financial Controller. This individual will be ambitious to drive change and transform the organisation.
You'll preferably be practice trained with 2+ years experience within industry. You'll manage a small team providing support on month end duties, whilst also implementing key commercial processes in parallel with the FD.
You'll have ample opportunity to grow alongside the business and take on more responsibility as you progress with the role. Supported by an exceptional manager who will be your mentor through out.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a small finance function
- Implement key process improvements
- Transform the finance function through novel ideas
- Provide sound commercial input to drive growth within the business
- Partner with key (non)-finance stakeholders within the business
- Provide BAU for day-to-day finance function
- Lead on compliance and reporting for entities regarding HMRC and Companies house
- Support Group FD on M&A and growth of the business
Person:
- Qualified Accountant - preferably ACA
- Minimum 18 months PQE within industry
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Commercially minded and ideas for business growth
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
