Concierge // London, UK // Permanent // £30,000 - £32,000 per annum
My client, a leader in the wealth management industry, specialising in luxury assets, are looking for a Concierge to join their team in London. Within this role, you will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our customers, staff, and high-value products.
Role and responsibilities:
- Provide a high level of customer service, ensuring a welcoming and secure atmosphere
- Maintain visible presence on the shop floor to deter theft and ensure safety of staff and customers
- Monitor the entrance of the store, welcoming every customer that enters, opening the door for them and assisting them with any needs
- Conduct regular patrols of the store, including shop floor, stock rooms and other areas
- Respond promptly to any incidents that may occur
- Collaborate with the store manager to develop security measures
- Maintain records of any incidents, and actions taken
Experience and expertise:
- Previous experience as a concierge / doorman in a retail or hotel environment, preferably within the luxury industry
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Great communication and interpersonal skills, ability to identify security risks
- Ability to remain calm in high pressure situations
- Physical fitness – ability to stand for periods of time and conduct patrols
- Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays if need be
Package:
- £30-32,000 per annum
- 5 working days per week – 42.5 hours
- Annual leave
