The Role:
An exciting opportunity for a Bid Writer within the pre-construction team of this highly regarded and well established Main Contractor has come about for an experience individual with a passion for writing compelling content to help with bid submissions. As a bid writer within the construction industry you will be assisting in bids in the Public and Private Sectors.
The Specifics:
- Writing content for live tenders and framework bids
- Ongoing responsibilities for bid collateral such as CV's, Project Reference Sheets and Capability Profiles
- Working in the tendering team, alongside Estimators, Planners & Designers.
- Information gathering from operations teams, tender documents and the tender library.
- Writing creative and compelling copies which communicates the company's solutions to tender opportunities.
- Formulating clearly written responses using information gathered and integrating key messages and selling points throughout these.
- Updating / maintaining the bid library with quality information / responses.
- Working synergistically with the tendering team to ensure high quality bid submissions.
- Meaningfully contribute to bid kick-off, progress, and review meetings.
- Critically evaluate submissions and the tender review process, offering solutions for improvement.
- Pre-Construction Coordination.
What we want from you:
- Previous experience as a Bid Writer within the construction industry.
- Experience working with a Main Contractor.

- Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + (DOE)
