Senior Finance Business Partner

An opportunity has arisen within a brilliant charity that supports homeless people across London, for a Senior Finance Business Partner. This is a six-month, fixed-term contract that will support the finance team through a busy period including a change of system, and will offer £50,000 per annum and hybrid working, with three days per week within the Peckham-based offices. It is an excellent opportunity to join an important charity and work closely with stakeholders across the organisation.

As the Senior Finance Business Partner your role will involve:

  • Overseeing a Management Accountant, including supervision and delegation of tasks
  • Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, supporting them with budget preparation and talking through their numbers
  • Month-end tasks including reconciliations and posting journals
  • Monthly management accounts including commentary
  • Various other ad hoc duties including financial analysis

The ideal Senior Finance Business Partner will:

  • Be a qualified accountant or qualified by experience
  • Be immediately available
  • Have experience from, or at least interest in the charity and/or housing sectors
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with those outside of finance and add value
