Warehouse and Logistics Assistant

- Salary: £24,000 pa, plus excellent benefits
Job Overview:
Support the Stores Team Leader and report to the Supply Chain Manager in all warehouse and logistics activities, including:
- Picking, packing, and dispatching orders efficiently.
- Receiving, checking, labelling, and storing incoming deliveries.
- Conducting quality checks on incoming goods and manufactured products.
- Managing stock, including kanban replenishment and regular stock checks.
- Handling shipping documentation and using specialised equipment like pallet trucks.
- Maintaining warehouse organisation and safety, including building security.
- Assisting with building maintenance, product assembly, and packaging.
- Driving company vehicles for deliveries or collections as needed.
- Contributing to warehouse system improvements.
Requirements:
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word).
- Full, clean driving license.
- Warehouse experience and Quality Assurance knowledge are beneficial.
- Physically fit, reliable, adaptable, and detail-oriented with a positive attitude.
This role requires a hands-on approach and a willingness to support all aspects of warehouse operations to ensure smooth company operations.
