Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular performance reviews with suppliers, utilising bi data to enhance supplier relationships.
- Negotiating with suppliers on price increases and contracts to minimise financial impact.
- Maintaining accurate system data across platforms like AX Dynamics/365 to ensure operational efficiency.
- Analysing market trends to forecast price movements and their potential impacts.
- Purchasing raw materials in compliance with system and supply chain requirements.
- Working collaboratively across global teams to enhance the procurement strategy and process optimisation.
- Ensuring timely delivery and quality of supplies, coordinating closely with operations and demand planning teams.
- Adhering to all internal procedures and regulatory compliance in all purchasing activities.
Job Requirements:
- Must hold a CIPS Diploma or an equivalent degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or Purchasing/Procurement.
- Demonstrable ability to manage large data sets and prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, capable of effectively negotiating and influencing at all levels.
- A forward-thinking approach, with a continuous improvement mindset keen on adding value and driving change within the procurement function.
- Experience in using MRP systems and maintaining databases with high accuracy is desirable.
