Role Overview: My client is seeking an experienced and motivated Site Engineer with a Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the execution of major projects, focusing on reinforced concrete (RC) structures over rail, lineside civils, and overhead line equipment (OLE). Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the construction of RC structures over rail, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate and supervise lineside civils works, maintaining effective communication with the project team and stakeholders.
- Assist in the planning and execution of OLE projects, ensuring all activities are performed safely and efficiently.
- Conduct site surveys, setting out, and leveling to ensure accurate construction.
- Monitor progress, quality, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the site team, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Prepare and maintain accurate site documentation, including reports, schedules, and risk assessments.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer within the rail and civils sectors.
- Strong background in RC structures over rail, lineside civils, and OLE projects.
- Valid Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification is essential.
- Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Excellent knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Proficient in the use of surveying equipment and construction software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
