On behalf of our client based on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, we are searching for a Project Coordinator to join a welcoming, supportive and growing team! Reporting to the Technical/Design Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing estimates and full design drawings, responding to technical queries and supporting the business. Strong communication, organisational and computer skills are a must along with an outgoing personality and ability to collaborate with various different teams members and departments. Due to the location of the role, a drivers licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

Main duties and responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

  • Draft initial design for costing / quote purposes and sales enquiries.
  • Check design criteria is correct via multiple reviews.
  • Complete quote sheets in excel.
  • Produce underfloor heating design layouts using AutoCAD.
  • Liaise with the sales team in respect of any alterations required or made.
  • Review plans from client's architects.
  • Size each project from the plans; liaise with architects or the customer to qualify their requirements.
  • Liaise with the sales team in respect of any alterations required or made.
  • Create a project matrix for each confirmed project/order.
  • Liaise with architects / electricians and end users to resolve technical issues.
  • Explain terms and conditions with the customer as required.
  • Provide product/technical training for staff as required.
  • Pass repairs and heating surveys to the installation team once quote is accepted.
  • Provide the final system design drawings/test sheets for the installation team.
  • Liaise with installers to trouble shoot on-site problems.
  • Diagnose faults on returned components
  • Undertake telephone liaison with relevant contacts.

Key Skills:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous Experience in a similar role
  • Experience in the use of AutoCAD
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Packages
  • Outgoing personality
  • Ability to work and liaise with various different departments
