Robert Half are recruiting for a rapidly growing business based in Bristol to recruit an Accounts Payable Manager - offering £40,000 - £48,000 + hybrid working.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced leader to make a big impact through optimising systems and identifying opportunities to improve and streamline processes.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of 4 Accounts Payable Clerks
- Providing training and development opportunities
- Monitoring, reviewing and reconciling control account balances
- Managing and approving high volume payment runs
- Overseeing new supplier process
- Reconciling complex monthly supplier statements
- Managing month-end process and ensuring accuracy of financial statements
- Overseeing the day-to-day running of the accounts payable process
- Conducting monthly reconciliations of AP creditors reports
- Managing and posting monthly accruals
- Developing, implementing and maintaining systems and processes
- Bank reconciliations
Your Profile
- Experienced in managing or supervising an AP team
- Experienced in high volume and fast-paced environments
- Eagerness to develop junior staff
- Eagerness to improve processes
